The power plug for my eee tablet's power supply broke off last week. Of course it did. It's hair-thin. I ordered a new power supply (my only alternative for a quick fix) for $129.99 from the Asus estore. By the time I get it, I will have been without my tablet for more than a week, and will have spent $129 because a $0.40 part broke and Asus didn't think to make the low voltage power supply cord plug into the transformer instead of hard-wired.

What a piece of * engineering.

This is unacceptible, especially if I am relying on it while travelling. So, I am looking for a hack that can make it easier and quicker to replace that tiny power supply plug in the road.
