Did I just ruin the printhead on my new printer?
Q: Ok, so setting up my Canon MX870 first time. Said route make sure you remove all the bands potection .. the back of that thing there printheat of dark brown stripes. Seems really hard to get stuck on. As I began to take off it seems like its supposed to be there.
A: This was supposed to be there. I doubt it will work now.
dark brown you say? Is sorta dark brown, but a bit shiny? as if it might be like a shiny penny? Penny or colored. If so, then yes you probably broken. try it and see if you can start maybe it is not broke sitll raed yet, but if their material is something visible in search of brown tape, then wtf is it made them?

Just now i have been encountering troubles with our canon ip1000 printer. Even although the print head is installed with ink jets, it wont enable us to print and a window pops up that says “The appropriate print head is not installed.”. Any tips on how i can fix this? I need to print a lot of projects soon. Thanks in advance to those that can assist.
